i bought the guild wars game of the year edition
and it mentions i get a code to get a unique weapon for each profession
etc etc

i dunno where the code is or how to activate anything
or how to get my weapon... i havnt gotten it yet
can anyone help?

I think you can just type in /bonus into the chat window, and it will create the items and place them in your inventory.

After you have logged into your character, try typing /bonusitems or /bonus in the chat window. You should get a message saying that the items have been created in your inventory.

That is presuming that with the GOTY edition the code is already part of the game's serial number. Otherwise if you bought it from a store I would expect the code to be on a piece of card or paper in the box.

If you bought it from the online store then it should be in an email.

If you got it from the in game online store it is added to that account
automatically.
Just type /bonus to activate it on ANY char on that account as many times as you like.
Even give the weapons to your hero's if needed

Just type /bonus and the items should show up in your inventory, but if you have to add a new cd key, just go to the add key to account on the main GW login screen and put in the code. Then type /bonus in game to get your items.

was this a boxed version? or did you get it from the ingame store?

in the retail boxed version is another separate code for the weapons

the ingame store version the GOTY code is also a separate purchase (unless thats changed int eh last few days) and once you have it added to your account (you can check this by going to edit Account on the character screen and click manage Access keys) then you can use the /bonus command in the chat window in a town or out post and you will receive these in your inventory:
