Quick Q about Obsidian armour for the Assassin.
Getting materials together for it, and the artisan section of the wiki says it needs elonian leather, the actual armour entry deldrimor steel. I assume the latter, but can someone just confirm please?

Well don't forget, Sin FoW (and Rit) armor has been out before nightfall which introduced Elonian Leather. So it would be the
400 cloth 40 deld steel ecto shards Plus elonian leather is for Nightfall armors, it has no use outside of there. I doubt they changed FoW armor materials |

Actually, Elonian Leather Squares have been around since Guild Wars: Prophecies (see the Mesmer Elite Rouge armor, the Necromancer Elite Cultist armor, and the Obsidian armor for both for proof).
But yes, for the Assassin Obsidian armor, you need Deldrimor Steel Ingots, not Elonian Leather Squares. |
