What to do!! Dillema!!
OK...
So when i first got into GW it was when Factions was released, however many people said it sucked, i did enjoy it, after factions i went and bought prophecies as it was going on special offer...now i havent really played prop. I only used it for skills, and to be compltely honest for TOA, Zin Ku in factions is dead!! Wihich is a shame, as I can go UW/FOW in HM from Zin Ku, but in TOA where everyone gathers, i cant...grr Anyway.... i missed out NF due to lack of funds being at Uni...now ive fuinshed Uni and have a job...nice.... I have a choice....should i skip NF and get GWEN, or should i get them both? I can pre order GWEN for ??18, and i can bu NF for ??10.... If i get both, would i treally have time to play both??! |

Missing alot of Heros not having Nightfall (but it is really up to you) I say wait and buy Gwen and see if you can handle it with what it offers. You can always go back and buy nightfall. P.S. You are also missing the a favorite skill of all most everyone [skill]searing flames[/skill]

Are you sure, you "fuinshed" Uni? lol I'm jk. Get them both at that prices, they're bargain. As for TOA, you have prophecies, you should know that TOA is not that far from Lion Arch at all. There're a lot of runners in LA as well, so get to it.
As for the time to play, hard luck man. That's the downside of working, been 3 years and a bit since I finished Uni. Weekend is the only real freetime I have to really play now, not just GW but console games as well. But you'll have a lot more money to buy stuff than when you were a student. So don't feel bad. Just be a man and get them all, no monthly fee mean you can play them for a bit every days, weeks, months and not have to worry about anything. Just think of it this way by the time you're done with them all GW2 will be just around the corner. So you can show your kid, what you been up to in your glory days of old and wonder.

/vote buy both.
I'd play GW:EotN, and use Nightfall for the skills and heroes...then if you get bored with GW:EotN, start on Nightfall. Quote:

Get them both, then get with an experienced friend and you can get your characters thru Nightfall in one day for each lvl 20 character you have. If you make a new toon it will take longer as you have to farm sunspear points, but if you got level 20's now it is easy. I took all my level 20's thru with hero's and hench alone because I went thru before most of my guildies did

Back to the topic, I say get both. Heroes are simply much better than Henchmen, although not as good as smart players, although they are rarely seen in some places. |

I play slow and do all the quests, map territories and get masters on missions so it takes me almost a year per campaign. I liked NF the best out of all three but they all have a place and provide certain benefits.
I suggest buying GWEN right when it comes out so you don't get behind. It's still worth getting NF and by having all the campaigns you can jump around. I was working on NF and Factions at the same time and only spending an hour or two a night 3-4 nights a week so it didn't affect work or family. Finished both within a month of each other. As others have stated, GW2 won't be out for almost 2 years. You got plenty of time to finish Proph, NF and GWEN, and Proph will probably take the longest. |

Get them all. Now. And Directsong music too.
If you get Nightfall, you'll get 4 heroes to help you just by doing almost nothing. That would hep when theer is no one around to party with. |

Hm, I can give you my way:
I just started playing Guild Wars in Sept 2006 when I saw a nicely priced Guild Wars Special Edition in local shop. After a few weeks or so I got myself bound to the game and ordered the Factions and Nightfall CE's. I did not join Factions before I completed Nightfall, and did not start Nightfall before I completed the Factions storyline. You can play through the storyline quite quickly and return later to do all the extra quests, bonus missions and hunt for the titles. |
