Survivor Armor For Domain Of Anquish?
Recently I was talk to a guild member and she told me that I needed "Survivor" armor and "Vitae" runes to be able to hunt in Domain of Anquish (DOA).
I've search all over the wiki website but have found nothing that would lead me to understand where to get such armor. Can anyone provide information on this armor and runes? thanks in advance Shirly |

Well the survivor part is about insignia's, which you have to place on your armor.
And the Vitae part is about runes, which also have to be placed on your armor. Both are buyable at a runetrader, but you need to have inscribable armor for the insignia's. Otherwise you can't place them on your armor |

But for the record I go to the Domain Of Anguish without Survivor or Vitae on my armor...

As stated above, all armor pieces can each be upgraded with an insigna and a rune. Is is not needed but it is higly recommended.
And no offence intended, but chances are that if you don't know what survior armor means, than you are probably not yet ready for DoA. It by far harder than any other place in the campaign. (but I don't really go there, so I wouldn't know) |

Survivor armor is quite often the best compromise between all armor types, and vitae runes help even more.
That being said, it's not mandatory or anything. My ele uses +10 while enchanted there. Pretty much as long as you're not using radiant, you'll be fine. |

Because it's terrible. +8 energy for 35 health or 10 armor is not a good tradeoff. For some reason eles especially love raidant armor, which makes no sense at all. Who cares if you have 80 or 88 max energy?

good e-mangement outweighs radiant any day. Leaving you to run better +health or +armor on your chest piece. Good thing to do is only use a +armor on your chest piece then all survivor insignias on your other pieces. |

I use Survivor Insignia on all my characters. From past experience the extra health is a lot more handy than the extra energy (even from a monks standpoint). Survivor insignia is especially good against Mallyx due to his Shadow Smash.
