Question about weapon mod - Guild Wars Forums

I know this is a stupid question but it's just that I never tried doing it. If you upgrade a gold weapon with another inscription or suffix/prefix, does it change color? (from gold to purple)

nope you can't change the color of a weapon

True, you can't change the color of a weapon, except for one case, if I remember correctly. When adding a mod to a white weapon, it then changes to a blue weapon.

Gosh it's been a long time since I did that.

In my experience, that is the only time you get a color change.
