Retard question.
Okay not a fan of MMORPG so this kind of game is a first for me... and I'm pretty stupid if I don't know this (or had even thought of this...) But if I get guildwars:factions or something does that come with the full game? I mean its not just the expansion pack right? cause I sorta just wanna download it direct to drive and I don't feel like buying the disc or anything but I'm not sure if that stuff is the actual GAME and not just an expansion. I mean if I look on amazon, Factions cost more than just plain ol guild wars so I assume it actually comes with guild wars in it???

Guild Wars Prophecies, Guild Wars Factions, Guild Wars Nightfall are all stand alone games, Guild Wars: Eye of the North is an expansion and needs one of the 3 others to play.
You will need a trial key from one of the first three to be able to try it before you buy. a GW Eye of the North trial will do you no good as you won't be able to play it. |

Like Lady Ana said. Each game except for the new Eye of the North expansion is a complete game in and of itself, but if you buy more than one of them they can be connected to each other. For instance if you buy Factions you will only be able to access the Factions content, and you would have to buy one of the other games and add it to your account in order to play it.

Also, the reason Prophecies costs less is because it's been out much longer, and video game prices go down when they've been out for a while.
