Elite skills - Guild Wars Forums

I have a question regarding elite skills. I own all the chapters and have taken my main character (a ranger) through them all. I've captured elites from all three campaigns for my ranger and for my heroes for their professions.

My heroes have access to all of the already captured elites no matter which chapter I got them from, which character I used and whether it's their primary or secondary profession.

Now I've just created a new character on Nightfall with ranger as her secondary profession, do I now have to go and re-capture all of those elites again because I don't have access to any of them with my new character?

your heros on the new character will have access to any elite you've unlocked on your account. Your new character on the other hand will have to go cap the elites for herself inorder to have access to them.

Any heroes you get with your new character will have access to all of the elite skills unlocked by ANY character on your account. New characters, however, will have to recapture any elites skills you want to have. This means that you could have no elite skills for your character available, but have every elite skill available for your heroes if you have Legendary Skillhunter on a different character on that account.

Or use elite tomes to get them.

Thanks for the speedy replies. I was thinking I would have to recapture them again but honestly I'm just too lazy to do so.

Hexum: I was actually considering that and have just started reading up on wiki about them. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also if you unlock any skills in PvP they will be accessable to your heroes not just skills from PvE.

No problem. If I could get to them, I would cap, but if I couldn't access it then I used elite tomes.
