Underworld Quest Sequence
I have relatively little UW experience (being a mesmer primary is a part of it :P). I know descriptions of quests, but not sure in what order to do them. What is a good quest sequence to clear UW?

Well, the first thing you have to do, is obviously "Clear the Chamber", because it is a requirement to do just about anything in the UW. After that, you have options: You could complete "Restoring Grenth's Monuments" and clear all of the native spawns in the process. This will leave you with the ability to teleport across the UW without having to walk everywhere and also a relatively safe area to do the subquests. You could also do the sub-quests as you free each Reaper. It doesn't really matter much.
In what order you do the subquests doesn't matter either. Just make sure not to take two or more quests at a time and that you only take quests when the party is ready for them, i.e. have the quest's area cleared before you take them. Some Quests are harder than others, though, and I'd recommend to do the harder ones first. That way, if you fail them, you will not have wasted that much time. The probably hardest quest in UW is "The Four Horsemen". It's a quite tough two-fronts battle, even if you know what to expect. "Servants of Grenth" can be tough too, if you don't know what to expect and/or have only medicore firepower. "Escort of Souls" and "Unwanted Guests" can be tricky if you try them head-on. Be sneaky. Remember that you can teleport. The other quests are rather chaep and can easily be cleaned up once you've got the difficult ones out of the way. |

Above poster pretty much got it all in one.
Have at least one person know your quest before taking it and/or make sure everyone is ready for it. I'd suggest doing them mostly by area as it's easier to keep up with and you don't have to backtrack (or teleport). The Four Horsemen, I would definitely rate as the hardest quest. Easiest way I've found to do it was split on both sides and if you become overwhelmed, slowly bring the fight to the middle. You don't break aggro, so they don't go for the Reaper (sometimes) and you're fighting as a whole. You should probably get this one done and out of the way as soon as you can. Trust me, it would suck if you cleared everything but this one and then failed. Servants of Grenth isn't too hard as long as you're ready. Best to do the split here too. Escort is best done with the teleport and Unwanted Guests actually isn't all that hard even without being able to teleport. People just tend to panic and it makes them screw up. Imprisoned Spirits, I'd recommend the party going down the the bottom of the hill while one person takes the quest. Head the baddies off before they actually become a problem. Also, be careful when restoring the Reaper of the Twin Serpent Mountains. After killing the Terrorwebs he spawns and there are Obsidian Behemoths behind him that can kill him. All other quests I think you can pretty much handle without a clue. |

If you can handle The Four Horsemen, Servants of Grenth is easy. Two mobs of Dryders is easier than four.
It's a bit easier to Wrathful Spirits before Escort of Souls; the Wrathful Spirits could kill the New Souls. For Unwanted Guests, if you aggro Vengeful Aatxes, they won't die until they are not aggroed anymore. Teleporting will usually solve your problems, unless you pull the Aatxes to the Reaper or don't have anywhere to teleport to. The others aren't hard so long as you remember to not let Reapers die.
