Auto-Changed to American District - Guild Wars Forums

I logged on today and have been playing a couple of hours and just noticed that when in town I am now in American zones. Since I first started GW I have always been in Euro zones.

I connect from Australia, has there been an update that auto-changes you to zone with the best ping or something?

My best guess would be that you were in a party where the leader was from an American district and then you got dragged along. Doesn't really matter, since you can change back to EU with a few clicks.

I was in a H/H party.

I just noticed the option to change district too

Can you change as often as you like?

Well, I'm switching between EU and American pretty often, depending on the time of the day to have access to more people when trading, and I've done it at least 100 times, so yeah, there's no limit on it.

Based in the UK I switch over to US servers about 10pm, I find it easier to trade and find parties.
