Mysterious A - Guild Wars Forums

I know this has been posted before, but searching for an a isn't easy. So theres this little upper case A in a box of white to the left of where I type things. and when i press shift it changes so that i can type chinese characters. How do i get rid of it?

I remember it being something to do with having more than one language installed in windows, there's another thread about it somewhere on this site

Remove the installed languages on your computer until there is only one. If you want it to stay English, remove your Chinese install, and vice versa. This will remove the extra symbol that symbolises which language you're going to be typing in.
