Getting to Luxon outpost.
I was just wondering... I am Kurzick and I want to get to the outpost Leviathan Pits. I do not wish to leave my guild and I have the outpost of Harvest Temple and Zos Shivros Channel. I have completed factions.
Anyone know how to get to Leviathan Pits? |

There's only one way to get to the Leviathan Pits - completing the Gyala Hatchery mission. This means doing the Luxon part of the storyline.
One important thing to note is that you can be in a Kurzick guild and still do the Luxon part of PvE without any penalties. Empty out your remaining Kurzick faction, then take Journey to Cavalon from Jamei in Maatu Keep and then Befriending the Luxons from Rhea in Cavalon. Gather the Luxon faction you need, take the Stolen Eggs primary to Gyala Hatchery, and then empty out your Luxon faction before starting to gather Kurzick faction again. |

Complete the quest "Befriending the Luxons" and work your way through the storyline on the Luxon side.
You don't have to leave your guild. It doesn't "shame" you or anything to switch sides back and forth. You can do it at any time. Don't take the whole Kurzick/Luxon war to seriously. You are skipping like a fifth of Faction's content if you do. |

The merchant thing used to be a minor problem because it made it hard to get Luxon keys, but lockpicks negated that. If your guild has a merchant in the Guild Hall, that's all you need - or you can visit the NPCs in House zu Heltzer or Kaineng Center. I've been told that you can have 10,000 faction in both Luxon and Kurzick at the same time, and then both sides will talk to you, but I haven't tried it myself. If you have equal amounts ot faction, the merchants inside of towns won't talk to you but the merchants at the res shrines will, as will the priests at the shrines. If you have more of one than the other, say more Lux than Kurz, and the area/shrine is controlled by Kurz, you will need to bribe the priest; the shrine will then res you, you can buy the priest's blessing and the merch will sell to you. In this situation, if there's more that one shrine with priest and merch on the map, you'll have to bribe the priest at each shrine.

Gyala can be a fun mission though, once you figure it out. You should try doing it. It helps to have real people in your party. |
