I just got this weapon today and was wondering if I can upgrade it, if so, what would be the best upgrade for that sword?

you can put a pommel on it but you cant put a hilt on that particular sword

good upgrade would be a defence upgrade or health upgrade and depending on your build maybe enchantment upgrade

seeing as how that sword isn't max damage (15-22 is) i would keep it as is and wait for a max damage sword to come your way.
