Info about PvP - Guild Wars Forums

Hey guys! I just recently started in PvP and I would like to get informed on what exactly to do and how the process works? So I just go to all the maps and PvP to get faction, and then unlock stuff. Is that correct?

Any info would be great

pretty much....be sure to do the training at the zaishen missions...then try your luck in Random arenas.....there is a subform for PVP about 3/4 the way down on the main forum page.
