Am I missing out
Heya, Ive had the game since original release, but I never played much (Although I have all 3 campaigns, except the latest one) And I think now that I'm fed up with WoW Im going to give the game a good playthrough, but I have a question: Am I missing out on not buying the latest chapter thing? I hate the idea of losing in PVP because of some hot item being unaccessible, etc.

There are a couple builds that use EotN skills, but not too many. If you want a good deal just spend 5$ to unlock the skills.

There are some pretty good PvP and PvE GWEN skills. I suggest you buy it if your savings are enough. Not such a big deal though. There are some Uber skills and others that arent that motivating. You decide, but EotN isn't filled up with PvP skills. But for PvE, you will have a much easier time with it's skills.

The thing with PvP is that there are no uber items. You won't be missing out on anyting in the equipment department - PvP characters can generate max weapons and armor at no cost, and while the skins for these equipment choices may be more limited they are functionally identical to the flashier options.
You say you have the previous three games, so you already have access to all of the 10 professions and all of the most important skills for PvP. Not that many profession skills were introduced in Eye of the North, and all of the overpowered skills are set for PvE only (and generally have some sort of grind attached to them); it's very focused on the PvE experience. If you're a PvP focused player, you're not missing out on much if you don't have Eye of the North. But if you're more of the PvE type, you should definitely consider adding Eye of the North to your collection. |

EOTN is a great thing to have. Some of the concepts of it make the game so much more fun.

No, you're not. There are very few new skills from eotn. I hardly even equip any.
