Some Pre-Searing Questions
I have some questions about pre searing.
First of all, what would be considered the "best" for pre-searing? I was thinking about mesmer but I heard they got worse due to the fact you cant get empathy anymore. Another thing I was wondering is are you still able to bring max weapons and items like that into pre? Or did they fix that a while back? Thanks in advance. |

Actually, you can't get maxed weapons in Pre-Searing. They *never* drop and if ANet catches you with one from the Guild Hall glitch a while ago, they'll tell you to either delete the weapon or character, or move to Post-Searing. The only exception is anything like Pre-Order, Game of the Year or other special packs that give weapons.
Also, I'd think that Empathy can still be obtained in Pre-Searing, making mesmers somewhat valuable at charr hunting. I'd go with warrior or monk though; easiest to solo with. |

There is no "best" for pre-searing. Pre-searing is the training area, so it's "best" to train with the character you want to play. I suppose you could go through pre-searing with some class you think is "best" for the experience, but then you'd have to go through it again with your "real" character anyway - so why bother. And, it's not like it's hard for any class.

But Ranger is my favorite pre character, as mine is lvl 14 It's easy to farm charr with your trusty pet, plus if you have the EoTN bonus weapons, the Darksteel Longbow is very nice to have also.
