Is there a best armour/weapon thing in guild wars? like different sets How much do people consider alot of money? (if the armour/weapons cost money how much is like the dearest and cheapest?) What else do you spend guild wars money on other than armour and weapons? Like 100k would you say thats alot? and what would you say is like too much money? |

max armor is max armor...doesn't matter if it cost 1k or 1,000k it still has the same effects on game play...although what you really pay for is the look of the item/armor.
100k is a good deal of money to most players...i would imagine on average most players have less than 30k in the bank at one time...mainly cuz they can't stop themselves from spending it... to be truely comfortable in GW and be able to purchase "most" items...you need between 500k-1000k when you start getting up to where you have 30-40 million...thats too much..because then there is nothing you can't buy unless you find something that a person who doesn't care about in game wealth has and they don't want to sell it. |

what about weapon?
what else can you spend money on apart from weapon and armour? What about pets do you need to pay for these if so is there a *best* pet? Also Edit: can you transfer money through your own accounts? can you transfer your character from one game to another - nightfall (level 20) to fractions and keep moving one character on? you can spend plat on weapons but if its max damage with a 'rare' skin it will to the same damage as one with a crappy skin.....next would be mods for the weapons....max mods make weapons worth more as well as max inscriptions.
However, you can have a 'bad' skinned weapon with max mods and inscription and no one would buy it....you can still play with it since its max damage and max mods and will play the same as any other max damage/modded weapon (of the same type eg swords, hammers, etc). |

Wow you actualy asked the question again. A mod should've just moved your thread from the other spot to here. Here is what I posted there:

Basic Armor Armor Crafter Best armor in GW can only be said of function,i.e. armor rating. Depending on which profession there is max armor level for each profession and an armor crafter that can craft it. Max armor can be crafted in prices from 1000g per piece + crafting material(called 1k armor) up to most prestige armor at 8000-15000g/piece + crafting material(called 15k armor). This depends on the profession. Now keep in mind that some materials required to craft armor can be very expensive. Plus the armor may require alot of that material to craft it. For example; Obsidian armor requires 105 to 120 globs of ectoplasm to craft for all 5 pieces. Depending on the market 1 glob of ectoplasm will go from 4000g to 5500g. But remember this. Max armor is max armor. No matter if one purchased the 1k max armor or the 15k max armor, it performs just the same with no added benefit. But the more expensive "prestige armor" looks better than the less expensive version. It's all about one's personal taste really. Weapons are also similar. There is a range of damage on weapons with a max set for each kind. And max weapons can be gotten for free from collectors throughout all of Guild Wars. And compared to the very rare gold ones the perform no different. The difference between the 2 weapons is nothing more than "looks" or "skin" Weapons Quote:

Skills, Consumables, keys, and really thats it. Upgrading your heros can count but that goes along with armor and weapons. |

So if i am getting this right you said 8000g-15000g (called 15k armour)
so is 1000k 1000g? or is it like 1000k = 10000g nevermind you answered it |

also on you characters... you can take any character to any campaign/chapter as long as you have those chapters/campaigns linked into your account.
So if you buy Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North...and make them all under the same account..then you can take a character that is created in Prophecies...to any of those lands once you do the required quests to get there. |
