How Do I Get Extra Storage? - Guild Wars Forums

My brother has the exact same campaigns as me (Proph + Factions) but he has an extra storage slot. He has 4 slots + materials but I only have 3 + materials. Does anybody know why this is?

To split a stack, hold down the [Shift] key before you drag-and-drop the stack.

Don't know why he has four. You should only have three with two campaigns.

Are you sure you have the same campaigns unlocked? The only way he can have 4 slots is by having 3 campaigns, see the guildwiki page for more info:

It says it depends on the number of campaigns tied to each account but as I said, we both only have Proph + Factions, but he has an extra slot

He probly has more characters then you. I'm pretty new to GW so I might be wrong, but I think you have the option of creating a extra storage space for every new character you create.

He does have more characters than me yes. I only have one whereas he has around 3-4. Can anybody elaborate further on this?

Did he get a trial key for Eye of the North maybe? OR may be he got a key for Nightfall or EotN but forgot to mention it? (you can check what keys you have on the login screen or once logged in in one of the bottom buttons)

If not, that may be a bug.

Incorrect. Check the Wiki links given above and you will see that it's tied to how many campaigns you have.

To the OP: You have the correct amount of storage. For some odd reason your brother has an extra slot.

Nope, we definitely have the same amount of campaigns, no trial keys etc etc. I guess it's just a weird bug

I had 3 when I had Prophecies and Factions. When I got EoTN, it gave me a 4th. Did he maybe play EoTN on the free 5 hour event and it stuck?

i got 1 extra storage tab when i created a second character
this was when i only had prophecies

I think I might have figured it out - Nightfall pre-order box ---> +1 slot. Supposed to be there only when you add a Nightfall key, but perhaps it shows because NF is live?

You always have two slots if you have Prophecies.

that says it all (bold mine), if you have different there is a problem or bug. (the bonus mission pack is NOT a campaign)

Talking about storage tabs, not character slots.

To the OP, have your brother login, go to edit account and then manage keys. If he doesn't have 3 campaigns listed there(Prophecies, Factions, NF) then he shouldn't have 4 tabs. He should only have 3 tabs and the materials tab. I would then select one of his characters, get in game and check if he is just pulling your leg.
