Character Appearance - Guild Wars Forums

Hi Everyone

Just joined forum today. I am wondering if there would ever be an option to change your characters appearance. When i first started the game, I knew NOTHING about how to create a character so she ended up with a horrible hairstyle. She's a great character but I hate the hair. Maybe there could be change your look weekend or an NPC who for a fee or whatever, change some facets of your appearance. Not the things that wouldn't change normally, but at least hair style, color, and maybe skin color (cuz ppl do tan !) Face, height, would stay same as that would anyway. Any comments or anyone heard anything ?

Nope, there is no way and it will be no way in the future. Gaile said it clearly. And there already are a gazillion threads about this. THERE NEVER WILL BE AN APPEARANCE CHANGER NPC.

Welcome to the game, and ignore all the whining threads

No unfortunately instead of adding things like a hair stylist to the game, they are moving onto Guild Wars 2 in the future, but if the character is still quite new, you could delete and remake

Going bit different topic (too lazy making new thread), anyone know if we can use GW1 appearance in GW2?

The characters in GW2 are supposed to be the descendants of the characters in GW1, so it's not likely that you can carry over the appearance.
It's probably best to think of GW2 as being a totally different game.
