On an elementalist i know that if i use a shield with 16 armor, i only get 8 unless i haev the req.

My question is how much armor would i get if the shield has 15 armor. Would I get 7.5 armor, or would I get 8 armor. Does the game differentiate between the two? Thanks

A shield with 15 ar will only recieve a +7 ar to the char if you dont meet the requirement. Since you're not running anything important that requires you to meet the req on a shield for an ele, running anything less than a 16 ar shield is a waste.

The only reason req7 tactics, 15 ar inscribable shields are worth anything and beneficial is to a monk so they can still hit the 14/9/9 att point setup and still meet the req for the shield.
