Unfortunately Peter, just like in the real world, money is not easy to come by. But I would suggest persevering until you master the Droks run solo before offering it to others. You just have to keep at it, even though it gets boring.
First person to suggest power trading loses. |

I heard when you kill monsters they drop stuff and you can sell that stuff for money. Just play through the game. I made 50k last time i did Nightfall, yeah its not much but it seems to be more than what you are getting.
You could also get a friend and clear uw with you 2 and 6 heroes. takes me about 2 hours and get 2-5 ectos depending on how lucky i am |

In all lvl 20-classed areas, identify items before selling. They are worth (in some cases) a lot more when sold that way.

Sigh, another one of these threads.
A) Power trade OR B) Search and find a decent farming spot |

If you want easy money its not about farming hard places like FoW/UW or doing Forge runs. The big money are in areas that can get you gold at least amount of time, for example back in the day vermin and dragon moss farming did not get me 1k or gold weapons per run. But it did take less time to farm 500 gold. Even though it was less than chunk change it only took me 5 mins. Boring as it may sound, but it was an effective way for me to reach 1 mil.

I do Hard Mode, Vanquish/Missions and then I salvage and sell to the crafting material trader. Feathers, Iron and Granite are up.

Don't make multiple characters, outfit your heroes with collector items, don't buy expensive dye until you've got disposable cash, use those monastery credits/battle commendations to get Identification and Salvage kits, etc. There's a lot of little things you can do to pinch pennies and save gold in the long run. Combine this with playing through the campaigns and doing hard mode, and you'll start to notice your pockets getting a little deeper.
A friend of mine farms the skale outside Lion's Arch in NORMAL MODE and makes decent money by selling the scales. Bog Skale Scales salvage into scales, and in bundles of 10, they can earn some decent cash. At level 20, you can do this as pretty much any profession with decent self-healing solo. And that's a pretty non-notable example of "easy farming", there's a ton of other things you can do. |

In the last few days ive been doing a heap of runs through the flame temple for Charr Carvings, But also at that i pick up blue/purple Armor, ID it and salvage the runes off it. Also pickup any Dyes, In last 2 days ive had 2 Blacks drop. Think all up excluding the Dyes I managed to get about 13-15K worth of junk.

Seriously. Pick everything up. DON'T salvage, just ID and sell to the merchant. at ~50g+ per item your funds should go up pretty quickly. Otherwise, try farming other areas and find what's best for you. I've made a reasonable amount of cash from farming Glint's Challenge mission of late.

Yeah, if you solo the first wave of Glint's and sell the cores you can make 100k in a few days if you really grind it. Most of my money nowdays comes from vanquishing though.
P.S. Does Vermin farming still work? I remember doing it ages ago and it was funny. |

1) SEARCH: This question gets asked at least once every few days.
2) Play the Game: If you do the missions and quests and pick up everything you should make enough to get what you need. 3) Check out the other sections of these forums for solo farming builds and other ways to make gold. |

2) Yes play the game but buy absolutely nothing...get 1k set of max armor and get your runes on it that you need, and keep an id and salvage kit, but other than that do not buy a single thing especially keys. Then beat the games and then beat them again in hardmode and you will have at then end of that time about 500k 3) solo doesn't work anymore, better off to guild group ursanway farm hardmode or do it in pug 4) you cannot make lots of money fast anymore money making has been nerfed to death and a-net is not going to do anything about it as you can plainly see since the game came out they have effed up the economy more and more every day |

Do what I do Quad run DOA, Clear UW,Fow,Slavers,Deep,Urgoz, vanquish
Clear UW brings at least 50k if you kill everything and pick up everything (lots of ectos). Quad runs in DOA bring me about 100k+ each time. Slavers is all right but you do make some cash doing this area in HM. Deep and Urgoz are just short and fun as hell with so many monsters to kill+all the drops and chests. Clear FoW is about the same as UW except for the shards lol not really worth anything anymore so UW is a better run. All of these areas can be done with 2 people +6 heros(just takes a little longer) or a organized group of guildies (these runs will go very fast and be very fun and very very rewarding.) You need NO solo farming or power tradeing to make mad money you just need a few skilled friends and do these HM elite areas. Times needed to Complete a full run in each area. (running ursan or Guild organized groups) DOA-(2-3 hours with a organized team),(3-4 with inexperienced players) UW-(1.5-2 hours with a organized team),2-3 with inexperienced players) FoW-(1-1.5 hours with a organized team you can cut this down even more with consumables or some kind of a speed buff when you get to the wolf quest),(1.5-3 hours with inexperienced players) Slavers-(10-20 mins for each area with a organized team),(20mins-1 hour for each area with inexperienced players) Deep-(30mins to a hour with a organized team),(1-2 hours with inexperienced players) Urgoz(30mins to a hour with a organized team),(1-1.5 hours with inexperienced players) If you are going to do these areas with the trenityway aka lameway double the times to complete the areas. I recommend getting into a few PuGs and try the areas out (learn the areas so you can lead the teams) go as ursan or balanced or lameways. It is your choice as how to do the areas but I highly recommend you do these areas if you expect to make money in todays GW world. And rember to Vanquish as much as you can. Asuran areas like to drop surian scythe's and Ele swords wich can bring you some good money. Last edited by IslandHermet; Dec 20, 2007 at 03:16 PM // 15:16.. |

Power trade is spamming Kamadan with items you bought off cheap from Guru and want to resell.
