Possible to upgrade account? - Guild Wars Forums

I own an account that has all the campaigns. Is it at all possible to buy the collecters edition of Guild wars Nightfall and get the collecters features from it although i already own the basic nightfall?

You won't get extra slots. Only thing you get is the sepcial dances for paras and dervs. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Yes, all you do is add the key, it will say ''You are about to add Nightfall Collectors Edition to your account, but if you do this, you will destroy the account linked to the key, and only gain the benefits of the Collectors Edition'' or something.

So in other words, you don't get the account from the key, just the Collectors Edition.

I did it with both Factions and Nightfall.

You will just get the extra things. Nothing changes except your 'regular' account is upgraded to Collectors. So now you can use the special dances, get the bonus minipets etc.

But you won't have a old key to give a friend, just incase you're thinking you might. Once a key is used, it's used, no getting it back.
