Need opinions on Elementalist Armors
So I am nearing R3 Survivor on my female elementalist and when I reach rank 3, I wish to get her some new elite armor. I already selected a few armors but I need you opinions on which is the best and which one I should get. The ones I am thinking of getting are: Vabbian, Elite Kurzick, or Elite Canthan. Yes, I know there is little to select but those are the ones that appeal to me. I just need your input as to which one to get (I feel like I am repeating myself). Please don't flame if you think none of them are good. Thank you.

They all have max armor so all of them are equally good.
The only thing that should matter is which one of them YOU like the most. Really nothing we can help with. IMO, Elite Kurzick. EDIT: Kyrein, I know that..and I gave him my opinion..maybe a bit too much of it..but hey.. Last edited by Squishy ftw; Jan 29, 2008 at 07:38 AM // 07:38.. |

Of those 3, I would have to go with Vabbian.

I would SO go with the Elite Canthan armor, it looks as you mean serious business I like armors with an attitude, dark collors and sharp edges that make the carachter look tough and mean. And of the three you mentioned, that is definetly the one!

Elite Canthan is one of the more respectable outfits for a female elementalist in terms of skin coverage.
Elite Vabbian is on the other extreme, open top and no panties under the skirt (AFAIK the only bare bottom armor in GW). But the skirt is very nice nevertheless. Why not buy both and switch according to mood? |

Elite Canthan is my choice. But if you want luxury, definitely go for Vabbian. |

My Opinion of the 3: Kurzick. But If I had to choose out of all of them it would be -------->clicky,clicky.

Given that I highly despise the "virtual slut" look of many female ele armors in GW (Why stare at skin in-game? Ther are other venues for that.), I say don't even think of getting Vabbian. Not only is it expensive, if you REALLY want your character to not wear much, get sunspear or istani. That way you get an amount of textile that more closely matches the cost. Now Elite Canthan vs Elite Kurzik, it depends. As echx said, Canthan looks more business-like, and Kurzick is a bit more casual.
Also, if your eyes can't decide, let your wallet. Cost-wise, Kurzik is Canthan with amber tacked on, and the gems for Vabbian can be expensive. |

seeing as I have all three of those armors....my favorite is either the kurzick or the canthan. I like the kurzick better though...
I like my vabian top and gloves, hate the skirt and the 'shoes' ugh you cant wear them with anything else because they look like you put some fabric on your legs that has nothing to do with your shoes......(dont like the sunspear 'shoes' either for this reason). However, I find I use my vabbi top and gloves the most (have a different skirt and boots).... yeah I didnt answer the question, sorry. |
