Ran Gate of pain for me?
Some guy ran Gate of Pain for me earlier, a d/e with only 3 heroes: Dunkoro mo/e, Ogden Stonehealer mo/e, Vekk E/X.
He wouldn't share his builds, so what could they be, (Didnt take any hench), which builds?? Thanks |

Why didn't you watch the skills used.....?
Mo/E are almost certainly hybrid monks, with aegis, glyph of lesser energy, guardian, prot spirit, SoA, and a few more. Vekk is likely blind bot, perhaps with wards. D/E.... could potentially be obsidian tank, but more likely damage dealer. BTW: the difficulty of this mission is even more overrated than THK. In THK, there's an NPC to keep alive, which makes things harder, here it's just about basic damage mitigation and it becomes walk in the park. |

I always find, if I'm being run, and I'm interested in the builds, I'll sacrifice myself to death (BiP works wonders.), and then look at the skills they use like that.

THK was never hard for me.
DAMNIT, CAMP AROUND THE KING! THE SPLIT UP METHOD NEVER WORKS. I don't know why people attempt it with PuGs or even HH - it just doesn't work out that well. Gate of Pain is fairly easy as long as you avoid over-aggro (especially in the creepy organic area at the start). |

Yeah, have to assume that was just badly presented sarcasm because both methods work just fine, and my prefference has always been for the east, west split.

What does all the THK crap have to do with the OP question?
To OP: If you do get any runs in the future, just die then you can click on the runner (or his heroes) to see what skills are being used. I think most runners will share thier builds if you ask. |

He had Ogden, he probably had Ursan, Pain Inverter, Summon Mursaat/Ruby Djinn/Naga/Ice Imp, etc. Chances are good he used PvE skills and just had the Monks keep him alive. Vekk was probably less about damage, and more about utility. Blind, Weakness, Cracked Armor, Wards, etc. all can come from one Elem.
