Sorrow's Furnace Quests - Need Help
Ok, I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid newbie question.
My warrior is finally getting around to doing the Sorrow's Furnace stuff. I've never done any of the quests in here, so they are all new to me. First, I'd like to state that I'm not a raw newbie. I've finished all 4 games and done a fair amount of vanquishing and HM missions (without Ursan ) I'm not an elite player, I still struggle with a lot of stuff, but I've spent enough hours on the game now to be able to accomplish most tasks easily. But this furnace has me stumped!! Ok, I've tried going with my guild, but folks just aren't interested in Sorrow's Furnace and it's impossible to find a pug for any quests except Final Assault, so I went into the furnace with my good old reliable heroes and henchies. After all, Olias and company proved to be competent in the GW:EN dungeons so how hard could this area be? Well, I did the quest with Orozar Highstone where you have to go rescue his brother. I got as far as meeting his brother and trussing him up to carry back outside. This is where I failed. The quest told me to pick up and carry the dwarf and also to pick up and carry a gearbox. Well, since I'm all alone down here, I can only carry 1. I stood there and debated for a few seconds and then picked up the dwarf and started running. Immediately, we all died and the nice "return to outpost" box appeared. I'm guessing Orozar ran off and died. So, what's the answer here? Can I complete this quest? Why did we die? I'd like to just carry the dwarf and when we reach a locked gate, drop him and run back for the gearbox. Is this possible or do I need another human? If I definitely need company then I don't see how I can ever finish SF. |

The answer can be found on Wiki .
I completed the entire Sorrows Furnace with just H/H. If you are talking about the "Plan B" quest there is an alternative way listed in Wiki that is a lot easier. PS: If you do them in the order listed on Wiki, the first quest, Galen Trask: Summit Slaves , will allow you to explore a lot of SF so you get to know the layout.
