Strip Inscriptions & sell for space
I've been playing NF for about a week.
I'm running out of storage and have been saving a lot of blue & inscripted weapons. I thought I would use Expert salvage kits to get the inscriptions off blue weapons and then sell the inscriptions and weapons seperatley to a weapons merchant. I would just keep any purple weapons or the highest damage of each type. ie blue scythe 9-21 damage and sell all the other sctyhes etc. The only Blue Inscritped weapons worth anything decent seem to be the "Show me the money" inscripted ones. I have about 4 of them - going to horde. |

Imo, sell all nonmax blue and white weapons, whether they have inscriptions or not. Their inscriptions are nonmax, and won't fetch much. Be sure to id anything near or at max though, it will bring up the price. If you find them, salvage off any "measure for measure" inscriptions as they can get you a good deal of materials if you apply them to the right weapons. You can ask around for which weapons salvage the best. Inscriptions are getting harder and harder to sell, most inscriptions usually sell better when max (like 14^50 will sell worse then 15^50) Show me the money inscriptions don't really add much value to weapons, I tend to just sell them with the weapon they come on.

Great Thanks.
I have at least 3 measure for measure weapons - keep them as they are or strip off the inscription? The show me the money ones all show up as 50-60 gold whereas comperable inscribed blues go for 20-30, or so I thought. Should I strip the show me the money tags too? |

Salvaging the Show Me The Money inscriptions aren't actually worth it.
Unless you intend to find an item that's naturally worth 350+ to put it on, you'd be happier to have those slots in storage free. Just sell the item it comes with, as the returns from one item to the next won't justify the loss of storage space, or the cost of removing the inscription (each charge you use on your salvage kit costs 20gp, plus if you break the item you remove it from, you've lost that item to sell as well). |

I find that if it has a Highly Salvage inscription, unless its a 300g gold item your better off expert salvaging for material.
You can find a very few blue inscription that are max, elemental and some Armor +5 inscriptions. You should concider holding onto these for a bit as they do sell rather easily but only go for 200g-1K depending on what weapon they are for. Purple inscriptions can come very close to max so keep any they you might wish to use or that you know are in high demand. Example, HP +28 for a shield should sell for 1K fairly easily. |
