You can see your alliance faction NPC in your guild hall for options on how to spend the faction. Remember to accept the quest reward before spending the faction though. Keep in mind also that when you spend Lux faction you lose an equl amount of kurz faction.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to try out the other professions in the game, Faction is account wide and not character based.
So if you get another character to the Befriending the Luxons quest, as soon as you take the quest, it will pop up as having been completed. And since getting the 10k luxon faction can be a bit of a pain, that might be worth saving it for if you plan to bring another character up pretty soon. Also, if you do plan to trade it in (for guild faction/jadeite/passage scrolls) do it before you start accumulating Kurzick Faction. If you have 10k luxon and 3k kurzick and then spend 3k luxon faction on jadeite, the game will take an equal amount of kurzick faction. It's a game mechanic, so just something to watch out for. |
