Does the 5 hour EotN trial only count down while you are playing the character in that mission? I have a lower level character in Ascalan that I will also play, but hope that time doesn't take away from the trial.

I think it does take away from the trial but im not sure. anyone?

My other character has not made it to LA yet. So as long as I stay in/around Ascalan it should not count?

I'm not sure about other characters, but while i was in ascalon, Lion's Arch, or Droknar's, the time oRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed down

it counts no matter where you are, you could be sitting in HA, the counter is still going.

Nope. Just write down the time you started and when you log off.
It also gives you a warning in the text box when you have an hour and a half hour left.
