Guilds
I've been trying to build a guild without spending time recruiting. It tough lol. It got me thinking, How many people out there are interested in my guild? So I am going to ask a question and it will have an answer guide so you don't have to type long boring explanations. BTW: No I'm not recruiting I am curious (I already have a recruitment post)
How many guilds have you been and what do you look for in a guild? Answer Guide: Pt. 1 How many guilds? A) 0-1 B) 2-4 C) 4-8 D) 8-12 E) More than 12 What kind of guild? 1) PvP 2) PvE 3) High Faction 4) Mix 5) Doesn't matter 6) Social Pt. 2 If you answer is 2-4 guilds and like PvE answer B2. The first question can only have one answer, but the second can mix. If you have been in 14 guilds and like PvE and Faction answer with E23. An explanation can be given with answer, the guide s just to make it shorter and easier. And I know a bunch of you are scratching you heads, but this way I can get answers that stick to the question instead of, "I like fun guilds"... Are you trying to recruit, or just get info? There is a forum for recruiting, so if you are recruiting, post there instead. Your little questionaire will have people scratching their heads trying to figure out how to answer, instead of posting fast easy responses.

One of the biggest problems these days for new guilds is that almost everyone that has been playing for any length of time is already in a guild. They tend to jump guilds only when they find a larger more active guild or one that focuses on something they enjoy(Deep/UW farming/ect). Also a warning about alliances, they tend to kill small guilds as the members will drift from the smaller or less active ones in the alliance to the larger or more active ones. |

The questions you ask are not going to give you a real answer. What I as a player would like to know is what your guild can offer me. If I am a starting PvP player and your guild is offering a place to learn PvP, I might want to join and gain experience with the rest of the guild. If you have a DoA guild and I'm looking for a DoA guild, you may have my interest. If you want to build a nice guild with relaxed people that play together from time to time and I'm looking for such, your guild might be worth investing some time. For example, when I was in my old guild, I was there with RL friends. One thing that was a problem that we were with 5 or 6 people and 2 of them moved to the US causing a lot of teaming problems. So at that time I was mainly 'looking' for a more active guild than I was in. If one would ask me what I would be looking at for a new guild (no, not leaving mine) it would be an active environment with experienced players, however, maybe a little less 'elite' compared to my current guild. I miss helping the newb players sometimes. |

For the first one, B. For the second one, social (which really should be an option considering social guilds are quite popular).
