Location of Drascir?
I am confused about where Drascir is located. Apparently it is at the end of the Ruins of Surmia mission, where the mages and the horn are hidden.
However, there is also a reference to Drascir being accessible from the NW corner of Flame Temple Corridor....and there are three blocked-off portals there. I have also seen a map from the GW Beta Event indicating that Drascir was indeed at this location. Which is correct? Or are Drascir and the Tombs of Drascir different places? |

According to text from an E3 map:
Drascir Mortuary - "For nearly a thousand years, this is where the bodies of legendary heroes were brought before being enshrined in the tombs outside of Drascir." The Tombs of Drascir - "The Tombs of Drascir, the eternal resting place for the ancient kings of Ascalon, were lost when the north fell to the invading Charr." As far as any info I have seen, you are correct about the end of the Ruins of Surmia mission being located in Drascir. Apparently the portal in the end is within the boundary of what would be considered Drascir. The Tombs of Drascir is not necessarily Drascir itself. As stated, the tombs are located outside of Drascir. |
