Thanks for all you're help so far by the end of this week i should have Factions And the orginal guild war.

1. can i have a link so i make sure i link factions and guild wars to one account dont want to mess it up.

When you start the game and are in the log-in screen you should see "Create account or add access key". If you already have an account and buy another chapter just click that and enter the new key. That will link it to your existing account.

Hope that helps.

Added: If you purchase a chapter from the online store, the key will automatically be added to that account used for purchase. They will email the key to you for your records.

As monty says, its pretty self explanatory, and not as confusing as it would seem. You pretty much just want to have one account, and everything attached to that account. If you buy the game from stores and in a box, there will be a paper in there (usually in some sort of sealed envelope) with the access key for that box. Just add that key and load up the game.

I wondered that too, since I thought I read that someone recommended using a level 20 character before you play PvP. So I wondered how do you do that? That is, get to lvl 20 without being a PvP in the first place.

Hope my question makes sense.

Yeah you can. And yes, you need a level 20 to do PvP.

To get to Level 20 without being a PvP, simply roleplay to Level 20. Alternatively, you can start a PvP-Character which will be automatically level 20 and allow you to customise all the skills and items you have unlocked for use in PvP.

Making a PvP only lvl 20 character is ONLY for PvP and only has access to the guild hall and PvP areas. When you make a PvE character and get him/her to lvl 20, you can go to the Battle Isles and do random arenas, team arenas, etc, whatever the pvp only character can do. If you have Factions you can do Alliance Battles (big 4+4+4 vs 4+4+4 pvp) Basically with a pve character you can do whatever you want with him, pve or pvp. You will gain access to Battle Isles once you reach Lions Arch in Prophecies or to the mainland in Factions.

So now if you ask whats the point of a PvP only character? It is so that if you only want to do PvP, not PvE, you can gain instant access to a max level character and not have to start from lvl 1. Also you can play around with different professions in PvP, and can create or delete any PvP only character without any hassle since you can just remake one. Taking a PvE character to PvP fights locks you into only that profession, and if you want another profession you need to make a different character or create a PvP character.

Hope that kinda summarized it for ya.
