Two questions.
Farming: What secondary proffesion should I use for farming with 1 or 2 people? Is there any "invincible" spells I could use to help me out with a primary/secondary proffesion. Still new to guild wars :P
My brother owns nightfall atm.. I want to buy prophecies but I my brother for some reason wont let me merge my prophecies with his nightfall.. Is it worth negociating with him to let me merge the two games for extra skills for my characters or should I just play prophecies with no supporting skills from nightfall and Nightfall with no supporting skills from prophices.. Thank you so much Guild War community and this forum and the people who usually post here have helped me a lot so far. Edit: As of this moment, we share only one computer. But we will be buying a new one soon. Last edited by Inferno Link; Feb 26, 2008 at 12:28 AM // 00:28.. |

I can't speak for farming builds, but there really isn't any 1 invincibility skill/spell.
As to linking the accounts, you may be better off NOT linking them; by keeping them separate, NF remains *you* account, and you can still meet him in the battle isles to trade items, do some PvP, etc. Lastly, Prophecies is coming down in price since it's the oldest campaign, and some people are reporting it as low as $10 at some Target stores - it might be worth your while to get it and have your own, (won't have to share character slots, guild affiliation, or storage, either). |

1. Check farming thread, all i have to say is there are many "invincible" spells when used correctly Eg. Shadow Form, Protspirit +spiritbond (600)...the stickied thread will be enough for the information u wanted..
2. Prophecies and nightfall won't meet each other if you doesnt take the respective quests to reach the other area, so theres no harm merging prophecies to your nightfall account but playing both campaigns together is the best! ( i would suggest that you buy the package that haves prophecies + EotN ) *edit* as biostem says, if you and your brother wants to play together, then you shdn't link them. |

Go Here And PvXWiki Go Here This will give you great lists on different farming builds and the profs to use. As far as merging goes it would benifit you to have both but not required as you can still 55 Monk and Necro solo with only Proph. only skills (maybe others as well). However, some of the skills in Factions, Nightfall, and GWEN makes it much eaiser. So, it won't stop you cold to not merge them but, will take away some options. Hope that helps, Krat |

Firstly there are loads of various farming builds out there and for many of the professions. I've not really played many and so I can't speak with much knowledge; however the one that I do know well is the dual 600/smite set up.
I'm not going to go into the builds here, but you can now search the forum to get an idea. Whilst in the PvE farming section you can look around and see if any of those take your fancy. As for linking your own account with your brother's I would advise against it as you can (afaik) only log in one account at once; thus you and your brother would be eternally tied to only playing one at a time. Okay that may not effect you right now, if you share a PC for instance, but there may be a time when you do both want access and it would soon get annoying. HTH Edit; LOL, not only did it take me nearly 15 mins to type that, but I get beaten to it by 3 ppl whilst I did, I really need to type faster Last edited by izzywish; Feb 26, 2008 at 12:23 AM // 00:23.. |

And to clarify stuff about the nightfall account.. I get 1/4 character slot since he let me use one. No bank space or crafting material storage for me so I have to store everything on my account lol. A question: What are all the benefits of merging prophices with nightfall and vice versa... in terms of skills/farming/etc/etc.. I just want to see what choice i should o. Thanks so much for replys |

ehh, what i meant is that prophecies and nightfall have no direct influence if you do not cross your character over to the other campaign..(hope this helps)
the benefits of having both prophecies and nightfall skills are a lot! for example, if your a necro, you can get Spiteful Spirit (prophecies elite) check here for prophecies and nightfall only elites.. |

Sharing an account
Another thing to consider about sharing an account with your brother:
Since you would be linking your Prophecies to his Nightfall (if I understood your post correctly), the account would be under his name. If he should do something deemed ban-worthy by anet/ncsoft, you would also be losing access to your character. |

Yes if you own all chapters and the expansion then just the one character can play them all. There are various quests in each one that allow you to do so. One thing though is that you miss out on some of the early quests, so you won't get to see Pre-Searing Ascalon. So if you are a completest then you may find a yearning to start different classes in Prophs

Sounds like its your brother's account and he's just letting you play whenever he is not on. If you haven't gotten the hint yet, he wants you to create your own account already.
To get back to your questions, no there is no invincible spell. The choice of secondaries largely depends on what your primary is and what/where you intend to farm. And at lvl 12, you neither have the skills nesscary for most farming builds, nor access to the locations most people farm. It isn't something you should be thinking about for quite some time. And if you add your Prophecies key to your brother's NF account, then yes you can bring your character over to play in both Prophecies and NF. But if you don't(if your brother won't allow it), then your char is stuck in NF. |

So... 1 account per license key, except if you're adding that game to an existing account, in which case that license key becomes associated w/ the email that created that account in the first place. |
