Paragon or Dervish?
I just got Guild Wars: Nightfall, and I can't decide which profession to make; Paragon or Dervish?
I would like your guys opinions on this. ~Jarretth25 |

Paragon.
You have great damage, and excellent party buffs. I will say this once, and throw it out there. The paragon is easily the most powerful PvE char in the game. |

^^ What Snow Bunny Said
Paragon is probably the best class to play in PvE and it is very fun to play. |

They're also very fun in PvP - but my main is a Dervish, and I love him dearly. I like both classes a lot, so it really is a hard decision. Depends on what you wanna do I guess, but meh... I'll say Paragon as well.

Make both, you have at least 2 character slots to play with. If it turns out you don't like one of them, then delete it.

paragon > pve
good damage from range with 96 AL (80 from armor, 16 from shield) and party wide buffs make paragons ridiculously overpowered for regular pve and also good choices in hard mode. |

Dervish, it's my favorite class next to Elementalist. Though I have to say, I like Paragons as well. It's a tough decision but I like Dervishes better.

I think Paragons are better for learning the game with.
Being in the middle of the party, and able to provide physical damage buffs, damage reduction, healing, and energy support, as well as lay down a decent amount of ranged damage, the Paragon with Nightfall's Heroes, lets a player learn about the various requirements of a good party. The problem with Dervishes in this respect, is that a Dervish tends to need to focus on his own game, and let the party sort themselves out. His actions do not really impact other team members unless they play Wind healers. Their job, quite frankly, is to kill faster and kill more. While I feel that Dervishes would be more fun to play, Paragons would teach a player more about party dynamics. |

I find it funny that no one EVER used paragons until these PvE skills came out.
Make both and you won't regret it. Paragons rule though. |

I personally prefer P's more than D's. I don't like how D's have to prepare before a fight with all those enchantments. |

Since when has the paragon become so popular? When i started NF (which was the first day it came out) I only saw dervish.. and i was near the only paragon.. and that didn't change for around a year and ALL OF A SUDDEN i see paragons running around in massive groups -_-..
But still.. my opinion is to take a paragon, i love them and so do other ppl.. great armor, great dmg.. but do think about the fact that allmost noone wants u in their party |
