What do you think about a second sin profession?
I have looked at the secondary profession info. in the wiki and the builds in campfire, but am still not sure what second to choose for my sin.
I am leaning toward A/R because I figure that, among other things, when I solo my pet can occupy enemies so I don't get clobbered. What do you think? Links and advice are welcome. Good fortune |

A/R is alright, Apply Poison isn't bad, and Crit Barragers seem to work (this is all probably in far greater depth in the Sin Forum in Campfire).
However I don't believe having a pet will be useful to you, as, when a pet dies, it causes all your skills to be disabled (read: recharge) for a number of seconds. Also, I'm worried about what you mean by 'soloing'. There are number of (A/E, adimtadly) solo farming builds for the Assassin, but for general game play going out own your own (without Henchmen or Heroes) is a bad plan. Not to say that in Sunqua Vale you'd have a hard time with your pet, but that in the latter stages you'll see how hard it can be on your own. Personally I'd go A/Mo for a hard-res, but A/R sounds like it would be interesting for you to play (Apply Poison being a good skill in some cases). Hope this helps a bit. |

Also A/W could be good to for Wild Blow. Its a guranteed hit (except if you are blind), removes a stance, and is a critical hit which could give you E and renew a few enchantments that require a critical hit to renew. Also warrior has a few IAS stances that could make assassins friggin effective, especially in pvp.
Also keep in mind that having a pet will take up 2 skill slots if you want to be able to res the pet, and it seems assassins need lots of skill slots if you dont want to suffer long recharges and be an effective assassin. The typical combo is 3 attacks (on-hand, off-hand, then dual). There are some exceptions where you can start with an off-hand attack. So now thats 5 skill slots used on a simple combo. You dont have much room for other skills. Personally I do have a black moa pet for my assassin, but more for gimicky stuff or if i ever go B/P into Tombs (havent done it yet with assassin) |

^referenced mission being Nahpui Quarter, taking you to Senji's Corner, where there is an NPC allowing you to change your secondary for a fee (about 500g).
