P/W or W/P?
I want to play a Paragon, but I need some advice. Should I go Paragon/Warrior or Warrior/Paragon? I have played neither.
What do you think? |

If you are gonna be playing PvE go Paragon, they are gods.
If you are gonna be doing PvP I suggest warrior because they are generaly better in that area. |

only reason you would go W/P in PvE would probably be for Enduring Harmony

Just so you know, it may seem similar, but P/W or W/P are completely different play styles. P/W is more of a team buffer, for the most part, and some decent damage. A W/P can work, however you will not receive the benefit from many of the shouts and chants due to the energy cost, and lack of regaining energy from the paragon primary Leadership.
Warrior could benefit from some of the adrenaline shouts, however there are few. It could help the warrior to use some of the paragon elite [skill]focused anger[/skill] or the other one that increases attack speed when under a shout (forgot the name), however I believe they may fall under the Leadership skills. Warrior could also benefit from some of the elite adrenaline shouts, however you might want to use the elite on a warrior elite. edit: btw, last night I ran a shout P/W using [skill]save yourselves[/skill] and the paragon sunspear skill, with Focused Anger and For Great Justice, and the team never dropped below 50% health, even with a triple aggro. Also I only brought Mhenlo as a monk, and this was H/H. So yea it is kinda godly. So Id say P/W is more doable, but let me know if Im missing something on W/P, other than using warrior as a chucker. Sweet...I was leaning toward P/W anyway. I see the point about them being quite different.
Thanks |
