I'm stuck, can't get margrid or master of whispers - Guild Wars Forums

I had previously done the "For a Price" quest, and had chosen to go with Margrid. I changed my mind and abandoned the margrid quest because I'd like to get the master of whispers instead.

Now I can't get either quest because they're not at the monument to joko any longer. I've tried redoing Kodonur Crossroads, but I don't see anyone that I should talk to so I can continue the game. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

Does this mean you finished the quest, but abandoned it before taking the reward ?
The problem with those 2 quests is, that they are mutually exclusive, meaning once you decide for one, you can't get the other hero until you finish Nightfall
Try looking for Margrid in Marga Coast, just outside Yohlon Haven. He should give you another quest to acquire him as a hero called "No Me, No Kormir".

I'm going to assume that you've never finished Nightfall before, forgive me if you have. Once you kill abaddon and you're in the area where you acquire your end-of-game weapons, you can pick up all the quests that enable you to acquire any Nightfall hero that you didn't pick up through questing. Hopefully this will work if your quests are indeed messed up

Just find someone else with Margrid or Master and do one of the missions. It doesn't have to be your hero to do the mission. If you can't find anyone ingame pm me on these forums and I'll help. You can get them both after you beat the game like the guy above me said.
