Brawling dungeon question.
When brawling you used to have extra damage if you used an elemental string to fight the monsters. But I thought that they may of fixed it a while back. Is it still worthwhile to add an elemental string if it does anything? Or should I add a furious dagger mod.

Not sure what you mean; initially I thought you were talking about using a bow rather than a dagger. I have taken a bow down there in the past (not elemental though), but brawling is easier once you get the hang of it.
Anyway I use a furious dagger mod. 10% extra adrenaline isn't much under normal circumstances, but unfortunately FGJ isn't available there. I also have a 15^50 and a shelter mod, and I wear nightstalker runes. If someone could prove that none of these actually have an effect I wouldn't be that surprised, but I seem to do better when I have them. The other front-end mod I'd use would be sundering, and back-end would be dagger-mastery. I wouldn't use an elemental dagger mod because the rangers have +100 armour against elemental damage, so you would actually be reducing the damage you do against them, and you need to take em down quick because of the daze they inflict stops you from blocking. A health mod, as you know, will be useless. |

Yeah, I thought I remember reading somewhere for the warriors and ettin/ end boss that an elemental pair of the daggers are best and will do the most damage. But I thought I remembered someone saying they changed it in an update so elemental doesn't do anything.
I use +15% -5 energy and +7al vs physical and have just been trying to read if elemental still works for warriors or if I should just use the furious. |
