Coming from NF to Proph.
I have played through the Nightfall campaign and a bit of the EotN campaign. Now I started a new character (ranger) in prophecies and, although I am having lots of fun, it almost feels like I'm "cheating" my way through..
I am using my bonus items and I have Vekk and Ogden by my side. Everything is just a breeze and I just sit here drinking coffee while clicking the mobs away. I am currently in Druids Outlook and I was beginning to wonder if I should slow down a bit. Maybe use only henchies and the weapons I pick up along the way. Or.. is the Prophecies campaign sufficiently long enough that even after reaching level 20 it will bring challenges like the NF campaign had soon enough? |

You posted the thread twice but um, Prophecies is the first campaign so it's the easiest and while it will get a tiny bit harder, it won't be harder than NF.

Prophecies is said to be the longest of the campaigns mission-wise at least if you dont skip any of them.
I always recommend when new players start out with Prophecies, then move to Nightfall, then Factions and Eye of the North (the last two are interchangeable) I dont mean that your a new player. But Prophecies was never really balanced for everything that came after it, that is why some people tend to find it easier, but it still is very enjoyable. You have to remember that back in Propechies, there werent any heroes, and when your party wasnt full, you had to add henchmen with set skill sets. Since Prophecies, they've also increased the difficulty of campaigns after it, therefor created stronger elite skills, which make going through Prophecies all that much faster. I recommend trying to party with lower level characters that are trying to get through the campaign along with you. It gives you that human contact and makes the game all that much enjoyable |
