Miners chests, dwarven axes, and Sorrows Furnace. - Guild Wars Forums

Seeing as how there is a req 9 Dwarven axe non-inscr for sale in high end atm and the bid is still quite high, I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten one from Sorrows furnace? I havnt done SF in a long long time but I remember someone saying they droped from miners chests there.. is that true?

I also heard a diffrent story that they dont.. and they drop as purples from the quest reward chests... so which is the case? Do miners chests have the chance to drop a non-inscr gold dwarven axe? is is this the last place in the game to possibly get such an axe?

I know they droped in the hall of heros, I myself got one there a long time ago (q12 ..) but theres been some gold non-inscr ones floating around and im wondering where they came from.

Any insight on miners chest? Sorrows furnace high end chests?

I currently have a req 10 gold Dwarven axe that I got from FoW HM. I think you should try there if you want one, but they are extremely rare.

I know that Kilroy's chests drop purple crystallies and dwarvens though extremely rare, thats where they used to drop and still do AFAIK.

Edit: Kilroy's chests, not the miners chests.
