*Sigh*
I know all that. I was actually the first person to point it out, in case you didn't read the first page. It's just that if you take off the +5 armor vs elemental from the +5 global armor mod, for comparison sakes, you get +5 armor vs physical, holy, chaos and dark damage. Edit: On the other side, if you take off +5 armor vs elemental from the +10 armor vs elemental, you get +5 armor vs elemental. Hence the "In short" quote from Jetdoc. I guess some people will never understand. If you still can't get it by rereading the whole thread, I give up. By the way, the question wasn't +5 armor vs +5 elemental, here I'll quote Jetdoc for a third time: Quote:

There is NO armor that will efffect Holy/Dark/Shadow/Chaos damage, they are all armor ignoring as far as spells/skills are concerned.
Now if your talking about staff/wand dmg then they are not treated as physical or elemental damage though they do not ignore armor. This means that both elemental armor and physical armor will work vs these damage types. As for the OP, I would suggest going with either Dreadnaughts/Sentinals/Brawlers for insignias and sticking with fortitue weapon mods. Brawlers seams optimal for PvE use where you will face a large mix of physical and elemental damage, however Sentinals is the better choice when in an area/mission/dungeon with elemental bosses or elementals that use high dmg spike spells. |

I'm not sure where you're going with that. I might have mixed up my answers for Njaiguni Blaze with what I wanted to tell you. But go read your post (#32). You start insulting Jetdoc for something he never said (and I see no typos). Maybe send him a PM and ask him to explain it himself, because I tried 3 times and you still can't grasp it. If you don't do it, I will, because I don't feel like arguing just for arguing anymore when I know I'm right. I'm also pretty sure he knows that global armor affects both physical and elemental damage. PS: The first time you quoted me (Post #40), was a message adressed towards Njaiguni Blaze, not you, and apparently he/she understood (based on his/her edit).
