At one extreme you have a basic Warrior where you just hit C-spacebar and click a few skill buttons while you chat with your buddies on Ventrilo or talk on the phone. At the other extreme you have classes/builds where you need to be constantly monitoring health/energy bars and/or timing the use of skills and attacks and/or micro-managing heroes and pets, to be effective. Add bad pings and/or recreational substances into the mix, and some classes/builds become much harder to play than others. |

For me there is a huge difference between a hard to play build and a hard to play class.
Some builds require a lot of interaction with other players or specific conditions. As said before, it's hard to interrupt or infuse when you have huge ping. Or a spike build where everyone has to react at the same time, not easy to play when you don't have voice com. In the end it's all about what you like or don't like. I play mesmer or monk most of the time. Before my mesmer I played interrupt ranger a lot. So I'm used to reacting fast to certain situations. And can read the battlefield to some extend. On the other hand, I have a lot more trouble watching the battlefield when playing melee because vision is blocked more. That does not mean the entire class is too hard to play, but certain builds would be without a lot of practice. |

No class is hard to play it's either fun for you to play a certain class or not. Different people like different classes, simple. |

-one can say a class is hard to play because it isn't 1-2-3-1-2-3
-one can say a class is hard to play because to be efficient you must have an overall vision of the battlefield -one can say a class is hard to play because it requires some gaming skills and/or experience with it -one can say a class is hard to play because they never tried it -one can say a class is hard to play because you just dont see DPS on your screen... -one can say a class is hard to play because synergy and communication is needed to have it shine did i win the thread ? |
