Mend Condition Vs. Mend Ailment
Mend Condition Vs. Mend Ailment, which is better for general PvE? Mend condition recharges in 2 seconds so it can cover almost all the conditions of the party (right?). However, mend condition can't be used on the monk himself, so would this create a big problem? (there's a monk insignia that give +15 armor when suffering from a condition, so does that sort of counter it?) Mend Ailment on the other hand can be used on the monk himself, however it takes 5 seconds to recharge. Both condition removers have relatively similar healing effects. So which should I go with? Thanks in advance.
As a side note, I don't have NF or factions (people like to suggest me skills these two campaigns). |

Mend Ailment. If you get Daze on yourself and you have Mend Condition, you'll have to rely on the other monk to remove it.

Mend Ailment because you can cast it on yourself.

I prefer Mend Condition, as it works fundamentally better then Ailment. It can never be sure there is a condition remaining for Ailment to come into effect.
That's for PvE though. Since Ailment works on yourself, I'd suggest it for PvP |

Mend Ailment. It can self-target.
If RC was in the mix, though, I would say that. Spammable all-condi skill which heals a sexy amount is nice...who cares about not self-targetting?? You can always bring another monk. |

But what if you use Disciple's Insignia? It gives +15 AL if you are suffering from a condition. Wouldn't that sort of cancel out not being able to self-target?

Disciples Insignia won't save you from Dazed or Degeneration.

Having 15 armour won't save you if you're heavily bleeding or being dazed. All it takes is one hit while dazed to stop you from healing yourself.

Mend Ailment for nuke heals in areas with little blind, dazed, and weakness.
Mend Condition in areas where your physicals are going to be blind a lot, so you need a condition removal that recharges fast. |

It's conditional, in my opinion. I usually pick mend condition because I do not find myself conditioned a lot, as I'm in the backline and don't see too many PvE red dots up close. It's quick, spamable, easy and cheap.
If you use Martyr or Draw Condition, Mend Ailment. Would be awesome for condition heavy areas I suppose. Generally I'm lazy and leave Mend Condition on anyway. There aren't too many situations in PvE where the conditions are so horrid that as long as you are watching your positioning, you shouldn't get too many (life threatening) instances of conditioning on you. |

Neither - Dismiss Condition is the best. I guess if you don't have access to Dismiss, Mend Ailment is better since you can use it on yourself. And don't use Disciple's Insignia - Survivor's is best.
