OP Abbreviation - Guild Wars Forums

I'm guessing it means Original Poster? Sort of a give away when it was used to refer to me in a thread I created. The only other option I could think of was Opposing Party but this isn't quite a politics forum, although it no doubt does get a little political every now and then
