Shards of Orr run
Hi, i was wondering if a shards of orr run that costs 10-15k is a run like a CoF run and is it worth 10-15k and also what is the target/best item you can get in the end chest, thanks!

I really don't think that runs are worth paying. People claim that Shards of Orr is incredibly hard, but it really isn't. The team just needs to have a clue :P and be careful wtih pulling.

I do COF and i make 3-4k per run. So yes. Shards Of Orr I find hard for myself. I am trying to find the right combo of heros and hechies and skill bar sets.

The rewards are variable just like any other dungeon.
But 10-15k for a run is just silly considering this dungeon, while certainly hard (it's a master level dungeon after all), is certainly very doable. |

IIRC the only exclusive thing in the chest is a suntouched staff that has a glowy head and looks like the thing from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. That and a bunch of mediocre necro weapons. I can't see paying 10k for any kind of run.
The 'trick' to shards of orr is to overload on holy damage and if you're a combat class, make yourself immune to blindness. If you're an assassin primary, take assassin's remedy and Heart of Holy Flame or judges insight, you'll shred just about any undead mob to pieces. Take Moebius Strike and Horns of the Ox to spam on Fendi, cursed brigands and other threats. Try and trap him in a flame spewer. Death blossom and Light of Deldrimore is effective too(Crit Agility, Heart of Holy Flame, Assasin's Remedy, Gold Phoenix, Death Blossom, Moebius, HotO, LoD is what I used) If you're a warrior, ranger or paragon, take Ritualist secondary, and use Sight Beyond Sight, for about 10 seconds out of 15 you'll be immune to the wizard's blindness(they have bsurge, bflash and eruption and there's about 2-4 to a mob, RC, spotless ect ain't enough) and the zombie necroes will have 1 less condition to spam Virulence on you. Have a Smiter put Judges insight on you. Take Light of deldrimore to help kill while blind. Rangers can use the Splinter+Volley+Sight Beyond Sight with BHA to disable the chained clerics and zombie monks, and have their monks JI them. If you're a Dervish, take the Avatar of Melandru and convert your damage to holy with Heart of Holy Flame(Avatar of balthazar derv with /rt and sight beyond sight and possible extend enchants has the immunity to blind, armor and holy damage too, but immunity to all conditions is more important), then spam AoE holy attacks like zealous renewal, eternal aura, the one that boost scythe damage ect. As for casters, Take monks or monk secondaries and nuke with Ray of Judgement, Sig of Judgement, Light of Deldrimore and try and have one guy with Word of Censure, Glyph of Lesser Energy, and Castigation signet. It should be able to fire till you hit the recharge threshold, and it's good to mow down fendi's zombie form. A monk with Shield of Judgement and/or balthazar's aura to slap on the melee, or on backliners getting trained can also help the effort. Just go nuts with the smiting. |

No, there isn't any profit in this run. Not sure why anyone would pay that much for it, not to mention all the possible items you can get are crap.

3 heroes with arcane echo + ray of judgment can mow through everything up to fendi with no difficulty at all. Just bind some keys to their skills so that you can execute the spike yourself.
