Money Making Advice please
These threads are put up everyday but I cant find the specific answers that can help me. This is my scenerio:
I have Prophecies and Nightfall, I'm trying to make 500k asap for my guild hall, i do droks runs, and sanctum cay runs, but i want to farm and make decent money over time. Any suggestions? I do have HM, and I have tried soloing UW and FoW and im not too good at them yet. Ive tried Wurm farming and got decent stuff, any other suggestions? |

Try powertrading (buy low/sell high) technique if you got time. But it gets really boring and tedious fast.

for getting to that point, look for trading high quantity low cost stuff that's in demand such as unid golds. raptor farming outside of rata sum can net quite a few golds and if you sell them for 5k/7 it should be fairly good cash. if you're decent at pvp, farming balth faction and selling the zaishen keys might work fairly well too. |

Playing the game is also an option. Pick up everything that drops & sell it to the merchant. Might want to try going for a guardian/vanquisher title too. Loot + tomes

I did a study when it came to earning my guild money. You need to look at the economy and figure out which items you can make from a materials dude and sell at a trader for MORE than it cost to make them. I have a few special items myself but I dont give those away to anyone but friends. Otherwise, I'd be broke. ^^"

Kill everything possible in the shortest amount of time.
I think that's about it worth mentioning. |

Farming, Buying low/Selling high, and Running are the biggest ways to make money.
Try farming for wanted items that you know people are going to buy even at an extremely high price. |

Look at guides on farming those certain spots. Just look for the rare golds and greens then if that's what everyone's looking for.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page
and http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page For locations on drops ect. Btw powertrading, farming and running are the fastest ways to make money. Powertrading being the fastest once you have a decent amount of money to start with. Running isn't all that fast, lots of scammers and stuff. Farming is pretty unpredictable. |

And you can finds some very good guides right Here on Guru. Also, sorry if someone mentioned it above, Rata Sum is in GWEN and I didn't see you mention you had that expansion, just Prof and NF so Raptors are out for you. (Unless you do have GWEN). I think a really good place is Fahranur, The first city, on the starter island of NF (Outside of Jokanur Diggings). Do it in Hard Mode and you will get a lot of Golds and Merch Food. You will usually have a full inventory by the time the run is over, or at least pretty close. Once you get the route down it is a pretty quick run. Hope that helps a bit. Krat |

I seriously recommend learning the game or at least be somewhat knowledgable of GW stuffs before attempting to powertrade or earn anything more than 500k.
You probably lose what you have faster than you gain them if you don't know what you are doing. Knowledge/skill > $$ |
