I don't think it's smart to compare Guild Wars classes(or professions, thats how they are called in GW) to classes from other games. But if you want it anyway...hmm...tank would be warrior or possibily elementalist, cast would be any of the 'casters': Monk, Mesmer, Ritualist, Necromancer, Elementalist. If you look at the 2 lists, it would be Ele, it's a fun profession to play as well.

Get the Factions Platinum. Proph + Factions + Bonus is better than Proph + eotn. Besides you can find eotn for about $10 sometimes whereas Factions will be $20+ all the time. You get more skills with the Factions + Proph than the Proph + eotn as well.

Don't be folled by the login screen.
GW:Eye of the North is the loading screen for all chapters. Unless you purchased both in a package deal you might only have the GW chapter you thought you bought. Also there are 2 ways you can go about things once you start playing. 1) Just create a char and each map will load up as you enter them, downloading all new content for that particular map only. 2) Use the -image comand and download every update, this takes hours but will speed up your game play once its completed. |

hi
Honiestly Im getting the basic jist of things. Just trying to understand what 8 skills are the best to us for my type of character. Im already to the point where i can leave the beginning part i think. But i wanna finish all the quests and stuff there. Learn some more and do things the right way. The best players in these games are the ones that take their time and learn how to be the best possible. I am getting some great people to help me too. Thank you all. This has been very enjoyable so far.
