Getting All Areas
Hello, I have just gotten a new computer and I was wondering how you do that thing where you download all of the areas in the game without actually going to every place. If anyone knows and doesn't mind telling me how that would be great. Thanks in advance.

if you have the game previously installed you can copy your data file from your previous install to your current install. That would give you all your previously visited areas. That's the only way I know currently.

change the shortcut into the game to have " -image" at the end.

Go to your main .exe file, right click, then from the menu click "Send to..." click "Desktop (create shortcut)". Find the shortcut on your desktop, right-click it, hit "properties", then where it says "Target" It should say something liek...
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" change it to "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image then start the game from the shortcut, once it's done downloading everything (will take a while), it'll close, and when that happens, delete the shortcut, and play the game normally. Hope I helped P.s. : http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/-image#-image |
