Ferrying
It's been over a year since I've played, and I'm going back into GW. My friend gave me back my account, but deleted my Warrior. I was just wondering, if I make a Tyrian Warrior, which cities can I get ferried too, if any?

When you say ferry I am assuming you mean run, as you cannot just be zoned somewhere with a new character (which your War would be). You can get a run from Ascalon to Sanctum Cay. The have that mission run for you that would give you access to the desert. At that point you could get a run throughout the desert (incl to Augury).
you could also on the way from ascalon to sanctum, get the runner to call into Beacons and get a run from there down to Drok Forge. From Droks you could get a shiverpeak tour that would include Copperhammer. All this is going to take several hours and certainly wouldnt be cheap, but O hope it gives you an idea. |

no, you have two options: Play the game until you get there, or get a runner.
A player cant travel/ferry you to any town. |

There's a few terms when it comes to getting people from A to B in GW.
* Ferrying - Using a quest to get from point A to B that you don't have. Prime example of this is going from Kamadan (the starter town in Nightfall) to the Consulate Docks (A place you don't usually hit til level 15 or so). * Rushing - someone does the missions for you. This is typical of Cantha and Nightfall. * Running - Someone takes you from point A to point B going through explorables. In Tyria if you're fresh out of Pre-Searing and in Ascalon City then there's usually two end-destinations: * Droknar's Forge * Sanctum Cay Droknar's is for people who just want to finish the campaign, from there they either get a run to Thunderhead Keep or do the missions themselves. Then there's the final three missions. Sanctum Cay is for people who want to get to the desert. Tyrians need to go there to get their attribute points. So. To answer your question. Thanks, so I can get a ferry to let's say Copperhammer Mines or Augury Rock? To get to Copperhammer mines you will want to get a run from Ascalon to Beacon's Perch. Then another run to Droknar's Forge. From there you'll either want to get another runner or fight your way (or get a rusher) Through the Ice Caves of Sorrow Mission then a runner/fight your way/rusher up to Copperhammer. There's probably other routes, but that's the first one that sprang to mind. To get to Augury you'll want a Sanctum Cay runner (or a run to Lion's Arch and then to Sanctum Cay). Fight / rush through Sanctum Cay and finally run / fight to Augury Rock. Phew. I think that answers everything. May have left some holes. Ask if you're still confused about anything ^_^ |
