Default dye bottling

how is it possible to mix dyes to create a bottle
of dye u want without adding it to armor first?
i read this but dont understand how it works..

How to get Gold Dye
First, you need to mix a silver dye with yellow. Next you mix orange and silver dyes together. Now mix both of these two dyes together.

how do u mix it to bottle it?

You can't mix dye anymore. That's how it used to be, but was changed awhile back.

You have to apply each dye to the armor by itself. Once you try to apply one, it will bring up a preview screen to show you what the armor would look like. In that window, you can add and remove different dyes until you get the color you want.

At one time you could add a dye to another dye in your backpack screen, this can no longer be done.

So some of the dye mix methods found online cannot easily be followed.

All dye is mixed on the armour screen, double click a dye and then an armour section and all will become clear.

Try red and yellow to get a goldlike shade then see what you can add to that.

Vary the number of red to yellow and see what it looks like.

Black will darken the shade White will lighten it.

Brown or silver with do the same but also alter the shade slightly.

Originally you could mix dyes before adding them to your armor. Now we have a dye preview window. Double click on a dye and click on what you want to apply it to. A preview window will come up which you can then click and drag other dyes into. Then click Apply to apply the dye.

A Ranger, eh? Well, Enko and co. have done a lovely job doing a dye guide (it's mainly female models though, but the armours dye the same for both genders):

Elite Kurzick
Standard Kurzick

From that, I would say start with a yellow+orange base, perhaps adding in another yellow or silver.
