Tyrian Cartographer Problems - Guild Wars Forums

I was recently Pixel Hunting my map for unexplored areas and noticed that the Ascalon Arena was one that is unaccessible to me and I have areas there that are unexplored.

My Question: Can I still get 100% even though I cannot access this area?

Yes, I've gotten that title on two characters who never entered that arena.

I have never been to the ascalon arena and have 4 character (including a rit) who have 100% of tyria.....if you had textmod you would see what other areas you are missing (not to mention after you get 100% you would see how much was still left to get---there is a BIG margin over 100 for tyria).

One of my characters didnt even do much of the bonus area for the dunes mission and got 100%. So it is very doable without the arenas...good luck!

Tyria has like a 2% margain or something I have been told if that helps.

no its pretty huge.....I did the title with my monk back when factions was first coming out (my monk likes to hug walls ---some druid like thing I imagine) so when the titles came out he was pretty far along...and without textmod we did it the old way.....so when I finally got textmod (to work on my computer etc) I went back and looked at his map.....boy oh boy was there little pieces here and there---I still wonder HOW he got 100% with the amount he had missing!

Tyria has a humongous leeway for cartography. You can get 100% without stepping foot into the Hell's Precipice mission. So yeah, the arenas aren't needed.
