GuildWars.com slacking? - Guild Wars Forums

I used to be a regular on guildwars.com but have been clacking due to work and such. I just noticed today since they added the RSS feed to Community News that it seems that the website isn't being used as it once was.
Community news I understand only being used when nessesary and it is the summer time. So I see the slow down there.
My thing is no GotW since 25 March? The Scribe ain't wrote since late November 2007? The first and only Player Profile? Just random stuff like that.
If stuff isn't being used why not archive it in an INATIVE area that can still be viewed on archived basis for lore or whatnot.
Is it because GW2 is in the making at full force so the sites not updated as much? Is it because people have become bored with GW because it's gotten repetitive with things such as high ranked UB, LB, Hero, ect and the new players are left to fend for themselves?
I understand people play different and they are many guilds that help one another ect. But due to recent views, nerfs, ect lead to the downfall of the site or is it because of other reasons?
This may seem a little odd and people are probably more "in the loop" than I am. Since I've been focusing more on work and my family I haven't kept up as I once did.
One other thing is that either they've grapsed how to balance the game or they're slacking on that. I remember for a while updates anywhere from 1-5 times a week. Now it's only one (normally around Thursday for the weekend event). I'm not saying constantly updating is good but just curious if they've finally found the magic in balancing and catching bugs in house before releasing them to the public.
Sorry I'll shut up now. Should of been doing work about 15 min ago instead of making random comments/questions.

i hate how inactive the gw site has been it used to be updated everyday and id check it everyday
now its jsut frustrating seeing it ever 2 weeks and still they havent given bak xulani this is really late for anet
the lack of a recent skil update
anet is slacking on gw1 wat can i say
